Here at the Shepherds Hideaway we have FIVE (yes folks we have a NEW HUT for 2024!) individually designed luxury shepherds huts each of which is named after a breed of British heavy horse (apart from one – can you spot which?)
We have;
- The Shire, named after the Shire Horse
- The Clyde’s, named after the Clydesdale Horse
- The Gypsy, named after the Gypsy Vanner
- The Suffolk, named after the Suffolk Punch,
- The Shetland, named after the Shetland Pony
The Shire Hut
During our first year in 2017 we had lots of guests that enjoyed staying our first luxury hut, The Shire Hut.
The Clydes
In April 2017 we took delivery of our second shepherd’s hut – The Clydesdale Hut. This hut is a little larger than the Shire Hut, has a well equipped kitchen, wood burning stove and comes complete with a luxury double ended bath in which you can unwind whilst taking in the fantastic views over the surrounding countryside.
The Gypsy
In July 2019 we took delivery of our third hut, The Gypsy. The Gypsy hut, which is also situated in its own secure paddock. The Gypsy has high ceilings and a long 7ft 6in bed. So if you know any of the Harlem Globetrotters and they need to get away from the stresses and strains of a professional basketball career then this is the hut for them!
The Suffolk
This is our fourth hut, The Suffolk, and she is so gorgeous !!! Newly available for 2022 we are now taking bookings. Book now!
The Suffolk is our last little hut to be sited, and we’ve placed her own secure paddock, and with her double glass door you’ll have with a beautiful views across our little valley and hills towards that provide the backdrop for the Offas Dyke path.
The Suffolk has a full kitchen, Victorian cast iron bed, TV & DVD and wet room style bathroom & WC. She’s heated by radiators and also has a beautifully useful outdoor wood burning stove.
The Shetland
This is our fifth hut, The Shetland, and she is so gorgeous !!! Newly available for 2024 we are now taking bookings. Book now!
