Within 30 minutes or so of THE SHEPHERDS HIDEAWAY are arguably all of Wales’ best walks, mountains, beaches, castles, mines, fishing spots, historic monuments, bridges, aqueducts, rivers, lakes, forests, horse rides, zoos, sea life, cycle tracks, pubs, ospreys, road routes, steam trains, mountain climbs, car-boot sales, stately homes and gardens, ski-slopes, Zip lines, boat rides, crabbing spots, ice creameries, and distilleries are within easy reach! You'll need at least week!

Set in quiet, secluded spot amongst rolling hills a little over a mile from the arterial A55. Excellent base for exploring the area.

We are only a little over half an hour away from #BangorUniversity just down the main A55, close to both SNOWDONIA & the NORTH WALES coast. We make an excellent base for exploring the area.

We have two luxury Shepherds huts, each of which is enclosed in its own dog friendly paddock. Both have Victorian cast-iron double beds, kitchen, en suite bathroom and log fire. The Shire Hut has a walk-in wet room and is also disabled friendly, having ramp access and grab rails. The Clydes Hut has a gorgeous double-ended slipper bath. Bedding, towels, logs for the log burner and outside fire and our Welcome Pack are provided as standard.

We can accommodate up to 4 dogs no problem, and they go FREE! We also have on-site secure kennels if you need to make use of them.

Arguably all of Wales’ best walks, mountains, beaches, castles, mines, fishing spots, historic monuments, bridges, aqueducts, rivers, lakes, forests, horse rides, zoos, sea life, cycle tracks, pubs, ospreys, road routes, steam trains, mountain climbs, car-boot sales, stately homes and gardens, ski-slopes, Zip lines, boat rides, crabbing spots, ice creameries, and distilleries are within easy reach! You'll need at least week!

One of our favourite photos, me (Buddy) and Molly my human - we are truly in love!

But then as we got a prize in the Sykes Cottages 2018 'Best Romantic' destination that's no real surprise to us!

Find your inner happy, and come and stay with us here in North Wales.

Bring your humans too - they're also most welcome.

Each of our huts has an enclosed paddock next to it for your human to sit in and relax whilst you walk round and roll about. We also have somewhere right next to the hut where they can park the metal thing with wheels they use to get you to the beach and mountains with.

Inside we have a lovely warm log-burning fire your human can sit beside and a lovely bed for them to lie on. In the Shire Hut we have a spacious walk-in wet room, and in the Clydes Hut we have a roll-top double ended bath.
